About Me

I study whypeople dowhat they do.

I'm a behavioral scientist and founder. My work is about how digital platforms shape the people who use them—approached from both sides: building healthier communities, and independently assessing the evidence on where platforms cause harm. I also write fiction about people finding each other against the odds.

Three ways I work

"Technology can bring us closer—but only if we design it with purpose."

The digital world isn't inherently isolating. It's just usually designed that way. I believe platforms can combat loneliness instead of causing it. Every product I build, every question I investigate, every story I write comes back to this conviction.
